So, my experiences together prompted me to post this. Not so much me tearing my hair out as shaking with laughter, here are my tales from today:

1. Good party in Quicksand Caves until the tank had to go and brought in a rep. Problem was that the rep had -12 Evasion gear. Hearing a tank say "I don't have any Evasion gear" is something no-one should ever experience.

2. Crawler's Nest. This is the best one ever. So the only one of the party with a map was JP, and no-one could find camp, so we ended up with three groups of people throughout the Nest, two people arguing over camp and refusing to move from their chosen position. People died, lots, and then the party leader realised the guy was the map was JP. Did he use auto-translate? Of course not, he typed in all caps trying to make him understand

I may have wasted about an hour with the second party just getting to the camp, but I think it was the best hour I had all day. My sides were splitting right through it

Nine hours straight trying to do the mission for Zilart, to kill the 3 Tonberries.

Many places to go to, and what usually should take two to three hours max took nine through and through - where in the end we finally get to the last gate, and one retard in the group (it took four lamps IIRC) forgot to light his lamp on the fire midway when we were on the sixth hour or something (there's no talk about going back, it's too far and too dangerous).

In the end I just didn't have the fortitude to let the past nine hours go to waste, so I took out my cheating apparatus and teleported to the other side of the door and opened it for the party from the inside.

After that, we managed to successfuly finish the boss battle and we all got the mission finished.

God DAMNIT that was the worst party I've ever been in for NINE HOURS. Infuriating shit. I could've only WISHED any of those people were Japanese. They were all sniveling english speaking morons.

But yeah, your kind of party? That was some pretty common stuff for me, daily basis.

Yeowch. I guess I have been lucky then, I've never really had a party as bad as that. Sure I've had deaths and disbands, and the odd idiot, but the sheer chaos of this party with everyone dying, trying to find camp, and shouting to try and make JP people understand was unique for me.

I only wish I had FRAPS installed, especially when people called for Tractors then went AFK before accepting them, or when the party decided to wait for one mob to respawn to level solely off that due to the risk of others linking.

Ed finally convinced me to Disband, I actually somewhat miss the mirth...
