I'm pretty sure that most of you probably know that I left the SSC in light of recent events over there. Though I don't think I play any games that you guys play, can I join anyway?

What exactly happened over there?

Just your standard differences of opinion on how to run things... Well, three times. In about what I can remember and piece together, the first occurred with you folks. I wasn't there. From what I understand, one person in particular was the cause of it all.

The second major split came about six months back, in the SSC WoW division. About 95% of the people who left and formed their own guild, Durus Vir, still squarely place the blame entirely on one person (the same individual who caused the first schism).

The third Exodus was caused when three different parties got into a spat regarding where the corp should direct itself, with a resulting meltdown in which two very influential members leaving. From that crack, a few more left and went pirate, with SSC tags still blazing on their characters (and only a few months earlier, it was stated that SSC DOES NOT PIRATE). This caused more cracks, more dissention, more squabbles, and ultimately, the decision to fold the SSC and form a more "streamlined" clan called Righteous Indignation.

While the individual who was at the core of the first two splits wasn't a major factor in the third, he's going to join the new |RIGHT| clan. Frankly, he bugs the hell out of me, especially considering his recent pirate actions in friendly territory.

Meh, Sorry if this is sounding vague and generalized. I still don't wish to make an enemy of any particular individual. It gives you an idea of what went down though. If you want further details, more have been posted in the SSC forums.

No need to worry about elaborating, we have been there a few times ourselves back when we were the SSC.

I look forward to seeing more of the former SSCers showing up here looking for what they missed from the SSC. We have it here in abundance.

Welcome folks, maybe we can make a go of this EvE thing. Just be nice, try and follow my advice, and if you feel the need to vent, pop into IRC and get it out of your system.

Otherwise, play some games, in case anyone gets the idea we're just a social club

We've got plenty going on, a couple extremely active WoW groups, FFXI, some misc game action in other, non-MMO's as well. Sounds like chatter wants us to have a group that plays EvE, so, by all means, if we have people playing it, we can have a group for it.

I don't think Tbird plays anythign but Puzzle Pirates and DDR.
