Picked it up for an unbelievable price of $3 at a yard sale. The Timex Sinclair ZX-81 (TS 1000 in the US)

1k onboard memory, 15k expansion, and 3.5MHz of 8bit power backed by a 1024bit RAM chip.

Once I find myself a black and white UHF/VHF TV with a screw in antenna, I'm gonna be cruzin'.

They do plan on releasing an 8 bit version of SWTOR, right?

Cool . . . .

That brings back memories, my first PC was a ZX Spectrum 48k (rubber keys and everything)

30 years old.... ZX-81 (1981) if I recall correctly.
Funnily enough its predecessor was the ZX-80 (1980).

Yep, 30yrs old or so. My history (approximately):

TRS-T70 (calculator with magnetic strips)
1980 - Sinclair ZX-80
1981 - Atari 400 (learned BASIC on this one)
1982 - Sinclair ZX-81
1983 - Atari 800
1984 - Macintosh
1987 - Amiga 500 (had to build that one)
1990 - Macintosh SE
1992 - Amiga 1200
Then a run of new Macs every 3 years or so to current.
