I'm posting this here rather than our TOR forum as it's aimed at members outside of the group who don't already play it :p

Starting today and for a limited time only those of us with an active TOR subscription are able to invite up to 3 friends each for a free 7-day trial.
Not sure how long this will last but if you didn't get the chance to try the game out during the massive beta weekends last year or it has only recently grabbed your interest just give us a shout and I (or anyone else who has spare invites) can hook you up with one. :thumb:

I don't currently play, but I did participate in the stress test. I would recommend this game to anyone who really loved pre-BC WoW or Mass Effect. Probably not for the old SWG lovers, unless you're really just all about Star Wars.

If you're on the fence, just try it.

EDIT: Not meaning to hijack the thread at all, but anyone playing EVE can grant a 21 day trial, as opposed to the 14 day trial on the site.

Hey Man, was asleep when you popped on IRC.
PM me your email address and I'll send you an invite straight away. I can see your email on the forum but I'll wait for the PM just incase you use a different one now :thumb:

Will reply here rather than the roster thread. Unless they've changed it the person needs to be online for you to add them to your friends list so that's possibly why you were getting that message. I'll be playing some more ME3 today but we have a group run planned for 7pm GMT (6hrs 15mins from this post) so myself and some others should definitely be on around that time if you are too. :)

BioWare are having a limited "weekend pass" starting tomorrow too which runs thursday - monday. This trial seems a little different from the existing one as it allows you to leave the starter planet and experience the Capital too as well as warzones and the first flashpoint. More info here.

How are you finding the game, enlightened?. I haven't been on very much since the weekend as I've been busy playing ME3. Hope you are enjoying? :)

It's an amazing game, loads of fun for me. I can't wait to get the actual retail. Though that will be much later :shake:
