Soooo...I'm having all the problems with EVEs test server...very much a pain in the ass so I kinda went back to wormhole scanning and got lucky! I entered a system with a Red Giant anomaly! The rest of the anomalies are: Black Hole, Pulsar, Magnetar, Cataclysmic Variable and Wolf Rayet. I shall hunt these sites down!

heyyyy guys just posting this before i completely lose my sanity. I'm working for a family member and i get to stay in their COMPLETELY empty house. I don't take complete silence well at all. It scares me intensely because it just isn't natural and every other sound is intensified. Will be here for a week and I don't expect to come out of it with the little bit of sanity I have left already.

Edit: with a bit of music streaming and a GBA emulator running the silence is far less terrifying. Ill be back in space in a week so again see y'all then

Thanks. I was kinda worried that the sun was way too bright. It was maybe like 2.5au away or even less than that. Relatively short range for most anything.

Back in Null with Space Monkeys and SSX. Happy to be back and flying my logistics ship, saving lives and all that. Switched to Windows 8.1 Pro recently so wont be much in the way of screenshots until I can figure out a key shortcut to take screens (I dont have a printscreen key)

Edit: Yea, sorry guys. Not much inspiration going on. Plenty of fleets, plenty of downtime, just not feeling the urge to capture moments.

After learning some of Eves history through the trailers I found out that the damaged station I took a photo of was damaged in a Minmatar attack. A massive protest against CONCORD. Station still ain't a perfect haven.

The script of an Eve trailer that I really like. The Tyranis, Dominion, Prophecy and Odyssey are ones to check out too.

Picys from the first fight of what the Alliance is calling the Summer War. At peak there were over 1,900 pilots in a single system fighting on one grid. These fights are getting big.

I apologize for how crappy these may look. You can imagine 1.9k people in a single system and grid all sending commands to the server can get pretty slow so low graphics and other things help make sure your ship follows commands.

Anny if you were to join us for a day and come out on a fleet i would have trouble focusing on my main duty as a logi to make sure you stay alive and get the best out of it

The fight I got the pictures from. Not the best camera work and it ends up freezing after a couple minutes. But it was a big fight so its expected....I'd be getting more photos if I could wake up in time for the fleets. I overslept todays alarm by hours.

Got hit with inspiration to make a big piece of photoshop art but sadly I dont have photoshop and I refuse to pay for something so ridiculously overpriced. If anyone knows an alternative thats free or cheap I would much appreciate it. Sucks hard to not have the tools to do what your mind comes up with.

Also as the days go by there may be some news to share but I'll hold off until its absolute.

I recommend this highly. Use it myself. More lightweight, and every bit as good at Photoshop!

Transmissions From the Surface


Planetside 2. A beautiful, BEAUTIFUL game. Real time territory control and war between three factions. Like Eve, hundreds of players can collide and clash on a single server on a scale not as big but still pretty big. Sony Online Entertainment, SOE, released a new continent this week and the fights and wars have been amazing. Unlike Eve though every player is a single mercenary who can be a single stopping force.

Edit: these were low quality graphic settings ive found out i can play the game on higher and looks way better. maybe another shot is in order!
