Why there is no post about this is unforgiving! One of the best shows I've seen
Watching mountains of crap to eventually come across something as good as this is totally worth it.

I did like the sound of this and Cowboy Bebop was really great. Speaking of which, Is it as similar to his Bebop series as some would have you believe? Better/Worse?
Will get to it eventually

Bebop was good
I mention Bebop because both that and Champloo are from the same guy (Watanabe) and both of them have more recommendations towards each other than any other show in the lists. I'd assume from that that they have a lot of similarities but figured I'd ask as I haven't read em all to see.

It's not bad, but I think it suffers from trying too hard to be cool. Other than that it was entertaining.

Yeah, quite similar in terms of characters and the plot loosely ''feels the same''. However dont let that put you off.
