What got you started playing WoW?

Yesterday, after much begging and pleading over the past two years from my best friend Chris (Hokie), I gave in and gave World of Warcraft a try. I was very surprised to find myself enjoying the time Ive spent playing over the past two days.

How did you hear about SSX and what makes you believe this guild is right for you?

Hokie told me how family oriented this guild is. Im still very new to these sorts of games and wasnt even exactly sure what a guild was until yesterday. However, that does not mean that I do not know what SSX is. Every day, all I hear is SSX this or SSX that. You all make him so happy. Hes always talking about certain players and what they did last night in different dungeons. I sort of feel as though I know many of you already through Chris. He has told me that the game is not worth playing if I wasnt a part of SSX. And although he jokes 99.9% of the time, I know he isnt joking about that. I can read by best friend very well!

Who do you know that is already in the guild and how did you meet them?

Like I mentioned above, I have been best friends with Chris (Hokie) for many years. I have also had conversations with Phil (Averegor) over the past two days. I am really looking forward to meeting everyone else through this application process, and with playing with you in the near future!

What other guilds were you in previously and why did you leave them? (Lies in this section usually come out and will most likely result in non acceptance, so be truthful... )

Again, I have never been in a guild before. However, Chris (Hokie) makes sure I know all about SSX and his WoW friends, so I sort of feel influenced by SSX already.

Have you applied to any other guilds recently? If so, which ones and have you already received a response to your application?

I have no wish to join any other guilds.

What are the most important qualities of a good guild to you?

Friendship and laughs are what make a challenging college work load bearable. I would hope to give and receive both should I become a member of SSX.

If you decide to start running these raids do you understand the above requirements that would be placed on you and agree that you will adhere to them?

Chris (Hokie) explained what raiding was to me when I read this question. I understand what the term means now, and also know that it will be some time before I am able to raid with the guild. I am a level 6 hunter currently. Also, Chris (Hokie) has informed me that SSX has a very capable hunter class and mentioned a few by name who would be more than happy to teach me the best strategies for raiding. I am very impressed with what Chris (Hokie) tells me about SSXs accomplishments, even though I may not seem like I have the knowledge to fully understand their significance.
