So my brother and I have been playing on Dagoth PvE server since we didnt want to do PvP without a guild :)

Question is, is SSX still really active on Doomslayer? and If so can someone remind me of the process of getting into the guild on the servr:)\r

I will then finally get my brother into SSX :)

We have at least 15 active players on at different times throughout the week. We are also activly recruting people of good quality. I know of at least 2 players that will be back playing as soon as life clmas down around them also. So yes we are very active and plan on continuing to grow so we can hold the seige battles against other guilds. So the more we have the better we can defend and attack hehe.

So please feel free to ask for an invite from:
Undrin
Ahnyanka
Starbuck
Tristeam? Spelling?
And what ever toon Pad is playing on at the time hehe.

We can just shoot you both an invite as soon as you contact us.

As for process of getting into the guild for your brother... we have a 2 week trial just to make sure people get along with them, and they're not a complete asshat or drama queen.

It may take longer than 2 weeks if they're not on much or not very social, so people can feel they get to know them.

That's pretty much it around here...

Luckily the game doesnt take too long to lvl and is a fairly fun process
compared to other games that force you to 'grind'.

I've been on nights 9-12 (eastern) recently seen suggz and bek alot then too. coming week might be diff bc I'm goin on vacation for few days, so I might be more sporadic but I'll be around.
On a side note I too might start a dark templar, want to get my herald past 60 first tho. Also goin to need someone to gem up a two handed edge for me soon too. Should start a tradeskill thread...

well the more i have played on the pvp server , the less I like conan. I think I am just going to stick playing on Dagoth for now, but getting ganked in white sands a dozen or so times in a row has left me wanting. wouldn't have been so bad, but these were all level 24/25 people when i was only level 12 or 13.

I promise, just get out of Tortage, and PVP servers are much more fun. Give it to level 30, and I promise you'll be glad you stuck with it!

Yes, what Rlyan said is absolutely true. There are 2 really bad spots on PvP server, the first and worst being tortage because there is no alternative, specifically the white sands region as it's an easy place for those with no skill to keep their 24 rangers and kill all of the lowbies.

The other place is at the very end of your leveling, Keshatta, but by the time you get there you'll have reinforcements and it's still not as bad as tortage. Everyone I know in here cursed the fact that we're on a PvP server but took it back once they got out of tortage.

It takes a little extra work, but you can actually get all the way out of tortage without ever touching white sands using the destiny quests, and the non pvp zones with a very small amount of grinding here and there.

Only travel to white sands if you have a group and are 15+.

Sorry we didn't catch you sooner with that info, it's usually the first thing we tell people starting new toons over ventrillo.

"Everyone I know in here cursed the fact that we're on a PvP server but took it back once they got out of tortage."

Well I was one of the most vocal complainers about the PvP before I got out of the beggining area. I was killed many many times in White Sands. But it turns out they are both right, the PvP rocks post 30 and is nothing like white sands. I also have brought a second toon out of that area with less problmes than the first due to me skipping White Sands!
