So yesterday my wife and I drove up to Pasadena to watch the LA Galaxy take on Real Madrid in an international friendly. The Rose Bowl was at full capacity, which is somewhere near 80k people, and it was equal parts Madrid and Galaxy supporters. Lots of pictures were taken while there before the batteries died in both my phone and my wife's point-n-shoot camera. Here are a few of the pictures I took with my cell phone:

If you click on the pictures from the pages they do get a bit larger. All in all, was a great match and a good way to spend a Saturday afternoon/evening. Match ended 3-2 Real Madrid.

Wow, you had a great view. That stadium is tiered pefectly, so that even when you're at the back you'd have a great view as you aren't four miles in the air. More stadiums should be built like that - it's ridiculous when you end up so high up that you can't even see the players.

I am glad the match was a good one for you anyway. Looks, and sounds, like you had a lot of fun :)

Yeah, it was a really great match. As others have said, looks like you had a great view of the action. LA was really on top of it in the first half. Shame they couldn't maintain their dominance without most of the bigger names.
