And because his EM/IR/Visual signature was so low because he was basically just a cockpit, I couldn't find him when I respawned. Have to be within a few hundred meters in order to be able to scan him in that state. Thus I couldn't continue on to the next wave, and I was forced to quit.

And I come into the thread thinking "they do seem a little more aggressive since the patch". Wasn't expecting that heh.

They are actually.

They were pushovers before the patch. Now their guns are stronger, they move much more random and aggressive, and they'll take you out in a few hits, especially the elites.

Your flight model on the other hand is more sluggish, as you're a big fat bertha with a lot of guns.
