Voting yes, not cos i want one myself tho. My signature image that i use on other forums is just used to display my name and clan, i see no point in using it here cos we're all in the same clan lol 
But i'm voting yes cos i think the option should be there for the peeps that do want one (so long as it aint too big, isn't animated (too distracting) and doesn't contain any offensive material).

No, sig pics can get very annoying if you have to scroll through them in every thread.

i say yes, but in mod form where users can decide whether to view sigs or not.
you guys are looking at this in too much of a black and white form. there are other ways of moderating signitures, both on a broad and finite ground.

I'd vote 'hell no' if it was available, but alas, I am denied. It's bad enough when people have five-plus line signatures. We don't need to toss images on top of that.

I say no. If people want to add a lasting impression to their posts, they should try working on the sentence structure and grammar in their paragraphs.

I was on a Freelancer forum once reporting a hacker to the server admins and boy some of those sigs....
I'm saying that even though they were a reasonable size and were not animated, they were extremely distracting.

I agree with esad tbh.
Just because sig images might have been possible doesn't mean that everyone would put up bright distracting sigs like the one that BD posted. Just like because we allow text sigs doesn't mean that everyone is gonna have a 10+ odd line text sig. If someone really wanted to they could make a text sig just as distracting as an image sig could be...
If someone put up a sig that was too big, too distracting or it had pr0n in it or summin like that, then a mod should take it down.

I happen to agree with BD, I think sig pics distract from the purpose of the forum, which is communication
I hate em, it makes forum conversations difficult to follow, but, if this carries, then we'll have to try something.

Sigs pics allow for personality. They don't have to be stinkin huge, and they don't have to be animated. 250x75 and under 35k is more than enough.

Seriously, they detract. At the least it will save us a few posts in a few months about asking someone to reduce their signature "glare," at the worst we'll look like we're holding up posters of ourselves and shouting "ME! ME!!!! for croms sake LOOK AT ME!!!!!!!!!!!"
I don't need to show people my cool badge every single time. Either you respect it the first time I do, or you don't. The message is clear in either case.

If a gaming site allows them then yes, but here no. It is hard enough scrolling thru large threaded topics, add sig's and sig picks ontop of that.... um no.
Now if we had a hack that only let your sig show once per page or something that would rock

I have been to many a forum and I have seen the most obnoxious sig pics to the not so obnoxious. I personally don't have a problem with sig pics as I see them as a way to artistic expression, but apparently everyone here does, so oh well. To me it's no different than lines of text for your sig.
