For some reason I haven't been able to visit the forums since the early hours of Mon. Just by chance I followed the link back to the site via my MAL profile and got here just fine (I point people to .com but my bookmarks are still using the .org domain). Noticing that I tried the same for the forum address.

For whatever reason the .org addresses are giving a server not found error. (http://www.shatteredstar.org/forums/ and http://www.shatteredstar.org)
However .com is working just fine (http://www.shatteredstar.com/forums/ and http://www.shatteredstar.com/)
oO

Might be something or nothing but figured it was worth mentioning :thumb:
"My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings:
Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!"
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare,
The lone and level sands stretch far away.

I'm using .org now (always do) and am having no problems. But that said, I have been unable to access the site at all at work for the past two days - and again, I use .org there too. If it's still doing it tomorrow I'll test .com and see if that solves the problem.

I think what Mech said sounds about right though - a DNS issue. It's definately not down completely, but it sounds like it is indeed something affecting a few people. I'll see what I can find out, should the problem still be around tomorrow. Can't do much from here though unfortunately, as the issue is not occurring for me.

Thanks for flagging it up :)

Intermittent connection problems for the past day or two as well. I'm inclined to believe it's a DNS issue acting up again; figured it'd have resolved itself by now.

The problem was gone for me today at work, and MS tells me that he is no longer having issues with .org either.

Guessing we were right, and this was indeed DNS :)
