First the controllers, now they've turned a decent code-name into a gargantuan, corporate wee-wee joke, complete with a masturbratory, Microsoft-flavored press release. I'd say the Revolution is really starting to become revolting.

I suppose when competing against money man Bill Gates and power house Sony, you have to have a "shock" factor or at least something to set yoursef apart from the crowd.

At least Nintendo's not half heartedly doing it :thumb:

Been a Nintendo fan for as long as I can remember. I don't like the wii name, but I'll buy it anyway. Never been dissapointed in a Nintendo console. I've played the Twilight Princess already, and if there's even a slight possibility that it will use the Wii controller it's good enough for me ;)

I was never much of a fan of the Revolution, sorry, "Wii" until I saw these videos.

I am more excited about Wii than I ever was over XBox, Xbox 360 or PS3 combined. I can't wait to buy one. (and the last console game I got excited over was Zelda 64)

Yeah, I saw some press confrence footage, where Sony was demonstrating the PS3 controler, and it looks as ridiculously awkward in practice as it sounds in theory. This is pretty clearly a gimmick feature that I am willing to bet will be utterly abandoned by developers.

There's some good hash and some bad games in Japan right now.

i'm happy about the controller's visual look compared to the "original" PS3 controller. But who knows who's gonna win the next gen video wars.

Apparently Microsoft even admits they were dissapointed with the PS3 during E3(controller, multiplayer network[Live], etc), Xbox apparently thought about the "6 degree" deal then flushed it because it was stupid.

The Red Steel trailer showed some pretty cool moves with the Wii controller :D
