Firstly, why is FS2 so unstable, even with the new FS2Open stuff it crashes like everyother mission.
Secondly does anyone know where to get the proper weapons and ship tables?
Thanks

It really shouldn't crash, but then again you need to describe the crashes in more detail, and how you run FSOpen, and on which system.
The tables and data - you probably need the updated core.vp for them to be validated. This part is best done in real time on irc.

I'd be playing a mission (its gotten so bad i can't even finish one mission now..) then it'll freeze then 2seconds later it'll reboot my computer. This happen's constanly during gameplay and gameplay only.
I've tried running FS2Open with the launcher and the exe but both still crash....
I got a
P3 3.0ghz
ATI RADION 9250
1Gig of Ram

......if you don't have drivers, nothing will work.
Also, if you don't have the drivers, I assume you don't have this either www.microsoft.com/directx , which is also, with the drivers, the main necessity for any kind of gaming.
